IT services for hotels and rural hotels in Mallorca
In a hotel, WiFi is not an extra: it is the first thing a guest tries on reaching the room, and the first thing they mention in a review when it fails. We build the network to hold up at real occupancy, with the management side separated from the guest side.
WiFi that works at reception but not in room 24
Hotel buildings are among the hardest for WiFi: thick walls, multiple floors, outdoor areas and occupancy that swings from month to month. An installation sized for the quiet season saturates in August, exactly when the property has most to lose.
A network sized for a full hotel
We measure real coverage across the building before proposing anything: rooms, corridors, common areas and outdoors. We size for peak occupancy, not average, and separate the guest network from the management one so guest traffic does not affect staff work.
What it includes
- Coverage survey by floor and common area
- High-density access points, sized for peak occupancy
- Roaming between floors and areas without dropping the connection
- Guest network separated from the management network
- VLAN segmentation according to how each area is used
- Structured cabling and PoE power
- Guest access portal if the property needs one
- Maintenance with checks before the season starts
How we work in a hotel
- 1
Visit and survey
We walk the building floor by floor measuring real coverage, including the rooms that cause most trouble and the outdoor areas.
- 2
Proposal on a floor plan
We show you where each access point would go and why, and what work is needed. At a fixed price.
- 3
Phased installation
We plan the work so rooms do not close during the season. If needed we go floor by floor or wing by wing.
- 4
Testing and handover
We measure again with the installation in place and hand over documentation of the network and access details.
Rather talk it through?
If it is quicker to explain over the phone than to write it down, give us a call. You get a technician directly, not a salesperson who passes it on.
Frequently asked questions
Can it be installed without closing the hotel?
Yes. Work is phased, usually by floor or wing, with the noisy parts concentrated in quieter hours. In high season it can be staggered further so occupied rooms are not touched.
Can you separate guest WiFi from the management network?
Yes, and you should. We set up independent networks so a connected guest cannot see reception machines, admin systems or cameras.
Do you work with rural hotels and agroturismos too?
Yes. They tend to have the opposite challenge to an urban hotel: scattered buildings, large outdoor areas and sometimes a limited internet line. It can be solved, but it needs measuring first.
What if the problem is the internet line, not the internal network?
It is one of the first things we check. If the bottleneck is the provider, we say so plainly rather than selling you equipment that will not fix it.
Shall we measure your hotel coverage?
The initial assessment includes a survey of the building. We will tell you whether the problem is coverage, sizing or the line itself, with no obligation.
