Cabling is the one part of a network you cannot fix in software. When it is done badly it shows up everywhere else: in speed, in intermittent dropouts, and in how long it takes to find a fault.
When the network is slow and the ISP gets the blame
Most installations grew in pieces: one more cable when someone joined, a small switch when another desk was needed. A few years later nobody knows which cable goes where, the rack is a tangle, and the network does not deliver what it should. The fiber provider usually gets the blame, when the problem is inside the building.
An installation that can be measured and maintained
We design and install cabling around how it will be used and who will maintain it afterwards. Every outlet is checked with a certification tester, so we do not tell you it works: we hand you the measurement.

Site visit and survey
We come to the premises, measure real distances, see where cable can run and where the rack makes sense.

Plan and quote
You get the plan: number of outlets, cable category for each run and what the rack needs. With a fixed price before anything starts.

Installation
We work at whatever hours disrupt you least. If the business cannot stop, we do it in phases so nobody is left without a network.

Certification and handover
We measure outlet by outlet and hand over the report and the labelling plan. From then on any technician can maintain it.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Category 6, 6A and 7?
The category sets how fast and how far the cable can work reliably. Cat6 handles 1 Gbps easily and 10 Gbps only over short runs; Cat6A holds 10 Gbps across the full 100 metres; Cat7 adds shielding for environments with heavy interference. In most offices Cat6A is the sweet spot, but it depends on distances and on the building.
Does installing cabling mean building work?
Not always. In many premises surface trunking does the job, fitted neatly and in a colour that matches. If you would rather not see it, cable can run through a suspended ceiling, a raised floor or chased into the wall, and that does mean building work. On the visit we tell you the options and the price difference between them.
What does certifying an installation actually mean?
Every outlet is measured with a certification tester and recorded against the parameters for its category: length, attenuation, crosstalk and so on. Without certification you only know it "gets a connection", which is not the same thing. A badly terminated cable can work at 100 Mbps and fail at 1 Gbps, and that only shows up when you measure.
Can the existing cabling be reused?
Sometimes. Before pulling anything out we measure it: if the existing cable passes, it stays and we only redo the terminations or the rack. When it does not pass we show you the measurement, so the decision to replace it does not rest on taking our word for it.
How long does an installation take?
It depends on the number of outlets and on the building: an open-plan office with a suspended ceiling is not the same as a multi-storey property. Duration and dates go in the quote, after the site visit, not before.
Do you know what state your cabling is in?
The audit is a visit where we review the cabling, the rack and the network points you already have, and tell you what is fine, what should be redone and what can be reused. It commits you to nothing.
