About LinkPoint Consulting
We are the IT department for companies that do not have one, and the technician people call when they need someone to come round and leave it working. We cover the whole of Mallorca.
Who is behind it
Behind LinkPoint Consulting is Miquel Isern, an IT technician since 2021. Whoever comes to your office or your home is the person who made the diagnosis and the one who answers when you call back: no explaining the problem from scratch each time, and no call centre that opens a ticket and passes it on.
How we work
The order is always the same, in an office or in a house: look first, propose second, and only then touch anything.

Diagnosis comes first
We go and see the installation before quoting. Proposing equipment without measuring is like prescribing without examining: it costs more and sometimes does not fix it.

Fixed price before we start
You know the cost before we begin. If something turns up that changes the scope, we say so and decide before carrying on, not on the invoice.

You get it in writing
What was done, how it is configured and what to keep an eye on. So that you do not depend on us to understand your own installation.

Remote when that is enough, on site when it is not
A good share of day-to-day issues get solved without travelling, which saves everyone time. When someone has to come out, they come out.

What we work with
The brand is decided by what each installation needs, not by a commercial agreement. This is what we normally configure.
Networks and firewall
Ubiquiti, Cisco and Mikrotik, which is what we most often find in small businesses and hotels on the island.
WiFi
Managed WiFi 6 access points running on Omada, which let every point in a building be administered as a single network.
Cabling certification
Our own Fluke Networks certifier. Every outlet is measured and the report handed over, so cabling can be ruled out as the cause when something fails.
Where we work
Across the whole of Mallorca. We work on site at the client’s premises or home, so we do not receive the public at an office: there is no shop or counter. When booking a visit we confirm availability for your area.
What we see stays here
Getting into a company’s network means seeing how it works: its data, its clients, sometimes its problems. We do not publish any client’s name without written permission, we do not share configurations or diagrams, and we do not use what we see at one installation as an example at another.
