Business networks and WiFi in Mallorca
Business WiFi is not home WiFi with more antennas. We design the network around the space, the number of devices and what happens in each area, using professional-grade equipment.
The WiFi that works fine until people show up
Plenty of offices, hotels and restaurants run on home equipment extended with repeaters. With two people connected it is perfect. With twenty, plus customers connected at the same time, it starts dropping, slowing down or disconnecting as you move between rooms.
A network designed for your space
Before installing anything, we measure. We analyse the real coverage of the premises, where devices concentrate and which areas cause trouble. From there we place access points where they are actually needed, and separate the working network from the guest one so customer traffic does not affect the business.
What the installation includes
- Coverage survey of the premises before installing
- High-density professional access points
- Roaming between points: move around without dropping the connection
- Guest network separated from the working network
- VLAN segmentation according to how each area is used
- Cabling and PoE power for the access points
- Router, firewall and access control configuration
- Documentation of the installation and the passwords
How we work
- 1
Visit and survey
We walk the premises with analysis tools to see real coverage, interference and where the existing cabling runs.
- 2
Proposal with a floor plan
We show you where each access point would go and why, what equipment we propose and what work is needed. At a fixed price.
- 3
Installation
We mount, cable and configure. We try to concentrate the work in quieter hours so the business does not stop.
- 4
Testing and handover
We measure again with the installation in place to confirm no dead zones are left, and hand over the documentation.
Rather talk it through?
If it is quicker to explain over the phone than to write it down, give us a call. You get a technician directly, not a salesperson who passes it on.
Frequently asked questions
Does professional WiFi require building work?
It depends on the premises. Access points need a network cable, so if there is none it has to be run. Where that is not viable we look at alternatives, though cable always gives the better result.
Can I separate customer WiFi from the company network?
Yes, and you should. We set up an independent guest network, so anyone connecting as a customer cannot see the working machines or eat the bandwidth the business needs.
Does this work for a hotel or a restaurant?
Yes. Those are exactly the cases where the difference shows most, because there are many devices connected at once, on the move, with customers who expect it to just work.
What if I already have equipment installed?
We check it before proposing anything. If it is usable we reuse it; if home equipment is the source of the problem, we tell you plainly instead of stacking another one on top.
Want to know why your WiFi fails?
The initial assessment includes a survey of the premises. We will tell you whether the problem is coverage, equipment or configuration, with no obligation.
